Savor the taste of tender, marinated beef cooked to perfection with vibrant peppers and onions – a classic Mexican fajita recipe you can easily make at home.
Use 2 pounds of naturally tender beef slices, ideal for tacos.
Prepare the marinade by mixing 1/4 cup olive oil, 1 cup water, 2 cups beef broth, 1/2 cup orange juice, juice of 2 limes, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and 3 tablespoons of your favorite seasoning blend.
Marinate the beef whole or sliced in the mixture and let it rest for at least 6 to 10 hours, preferably overnight.
Preheat a grill pan or skillet over very high heat.
Add the beef to the hot grill or pan, stirring occasionally to evaporate moisture, cooking the meat thoroughly for just a few minutes.
Just before finishing, add sliced colorful bell peppers and onions to the grill or pan, mix everything together, and cook until the vegetables are tender.
Serve the fajitas in tacos with your favorite salsa and enjoy.
